Clarence Docks is a unique part of the Liverpool Waters masterplan. It has an unrivalled waterfront setting and distinctive dockland fabric which creates the opportunity for a vibrant neighbourhood.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Clarence Docks will become a community of up to 3,000 homes woven into the fabric of the historic docklands. By utilising the existing dock and water spaces, this neighbourhood will become a distinctive area where residents enjoy exceptional waterfront views. Companies such as Complete Training Solutions, Friends of Allonby Canoe Club and Heritage Trail already take advantage of the dock and water space.
Peel recently spent over £600,000 restoring the historic Bascule Bridge which adjoins Liverpool Waters and the recently refurbished Titanic Hotel. There is also a water sports centre on site where you can try your hand at canoeing and kayaking. Developments in this neighbourhood will benefit from outline planning permission for up to 5,000 sq.m. of retail space and 8,000 sq.m. of restaurants and bars; in addition to 2,000 sq.m. of office space and 3,200 parking spaces.
