Liverpool Waters has welcomed three new tenants to its King Edward Triangle site, demonstrating the versatility of the space available. Micro-brewery, Carnival Brewing Company, personal training gym Crew42 Gym and mechanical, electrical and public health services provider, HE Simm have all recently moved into the city centre location, leaving just two remaining available units.

Crew 42 Gym is the smallest of the tenants to move in, with this space marking the team’s first business venture as a brand-new company. Taking out a five-year lease of 3,421 sq. ft of space, the team cites the city centre location as the reason for choosing King Edward Triangle as its base. With the aim of changing people’s approach to fitness, the team looks to make their gym a fun space and hopes to attract members from across the business and residential community at Liverpool Waters.

HE Simm has taken the unit on as an expansion of its existing Sefton Street-based business, as it carries out mechanical and electrical installations at The Regenda Group’s Plaza 1821 currently in development at Princes Dock, Liverpool Waters. The team is utilising the unit at King Edward Triangle as an office and storage space for site materials, as well as creating a pre-fabrication area and waste recycling section to manage the use of waste on site more efficiently

Carnival Brewing Company has taken out a five-year lease of 3,365 sq. ft of space at King Edward Triangle, for its three full time staff which they are hoping to double by early 2020. The move marks a relocation and expansion for the business, from a garage in Mossley Hill where the team has been developing their recipes and building the brand.

Dom Hope-Smith, director at Carnival Brewing Company, said:

Liverpool Waters was the perfect choice for us to expand, given its proximity to Liverpool city centre and the developing Ten Streets area. The location provides us with the space to grow alongside other businesses and new communities. We have some ambitious plans for the future to grow our production capacity quickly and aim to develop our processes to enable us to age, blend and package special beers for UK and European markets, helping to further expand our offering.

This space will allow us to do all of this, as well as giving us the opportunity to host tasting events, parties and collaborative events where we can combine our love for good beer, food, music and art, making it a brilliant addition to the area.

Liza Marco, asset manager at Liverpool Waters, part of Peel L&P, said:

It’s fantastic to have such a diverse range of businesses moving into King Edward Triangle, all of whom are at different stages. Whether they’re just starting out or expanding, these businesses demonstrate the versatility of the space that is on offer and the range of possible uses. All of this plus the flexible lease terms and city centre location, make it a great place for any business. We’re delighted that these new tenants have chosen to join the King Edward Triangle community and look forward to seeing them grow here Liverpool Waters.
