The Liverpool Waters site is located within Liverpool waterfront and engagement with our neighbours is very important to Peel.
Peel works very closely with a number of local organisations including The Eldonian Group, Vauxhall Neighbour Community, Engage Liverpool CIC, Everton and Liverpool Football Clubs, The City of Liverpool College , Harcourt Developments, The City Council, Local Councillors and The Liverpool Waterfront Partnership.
The Eldonian Group , located a few hundred yards from the boundary of Liverpool Waters is a key partner and we work closely with them on a number of projects in the North Liverpool area, with a member of Peel team sitting on their board.
The City of Liverpool College works very closely with Peel, having set up a Watersports Centre within Liverpool Waters at Collingwood Dock , relocating First4skills into Princes Dock. Peel also supports the college’s bid for a University Technical College in North Liverpool (due to open in September 2014) focusing on Low Carbon and SuperPort. The College’s Vauxhall Road facility, which is less than a quarter of a mile from Liverpool Waters focuses on Construction and Engineering apprenticeships / courses, Peel and our supply partners support this local college.
Harcourt Developments are part way through developing The Stanley Dock complex, which is opposite the north end of the Liverpool Waters site , Peel , Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Vision are working closely together to see that both developments progress and are mutually beneficial.
Peel is a founder member of the Liverpool Waterfront Partnership and chairs the newly formed Commercial committee, that is bringing together the key landowners, businesses and residents on the Waterfront.
Peel sit on the steering committee for the International Festival of Business, that takes place in Liverpool next year and also supports next year’s World Corporate games.
